copywriter intern

In my internship with tms, I was able to jump in on a wide range of projects from ideating and developing McDonald’s in-app promotions, headlines for restaurant experience, and the creative work for the agency summer party.

For our internship capstone project, we were tasked with creating an original global digital promotion for McDonald’s targeting Gen Z to increase downloads and activity on app. We were responsible with creating the in app experience along with promoting the digital promotion online and in-store.

Leveraging beloved past McDonaldland characters, we wanted to relate to Gen Z globally and bring a global menu to a digital promotion that focused on collecting the McDonald’s “squad” with your “squad.”

Players purchase Squad Up participating menu items and collect game pieces on packaging. Player is then encouraged to upload game piece to the McDonald’s app to connect the puzzle pieces together to unlock prizes. Players can trade desired game pieces with close by players to complete their puzzle, while adding a social aspect to the game.

Summer Par-tee

Assigned to the creative team for the agency summer party, we were tasked with coming up with a look and feel for decor and theme of the party.

Pokémon x Happy Meal promotion

Assisted on conceptualization and development of ideas for an in app McDonald’s and Pokémon promotion. Two were selected by in house to be presented to client, with one of them being selected by client for production.
